Budget Boat Race 2021:
Boat Building and Rule
Objective:
To create a boat for one of your team members in
order for them to make it around at least 1 lap of the course and look good
doing it!
Teams:
1: Vance, Emilie, Hanalei, Jasper, Theo
2: Nadia, Kate .B, Curtis, Garcin, Mia
3: Adam, Graeme, Lauren, Elizabeth
4: Frida, Will, Sean, Connell, Nate
6: Kate. S, Kira, Olivier, Summer
Point System:
(+5) for one lap around mark.
(+10) for every additional lap, up to 5 laps
max.
(+10) for fastest speed around mark the first
time.
(+5) Most creative boat
(+5) Best
teamwork shown
(+5) Best name of boat
Rules:
Two rolls of duct tape for each team only. Maximum of 90 minutes to build and decorate
boat.
Hint:
Make your boat wider than it is long.

Hi everyone:
Reminders: The waiver Scott sent out the weekend MUST
be signed by the parents of ALL campers and counsellors as well as the parent
volunteer drivers. Scott attached the waiver to an email Tuesday too. We
also need $25/ camper to help pay for the rafting adventure.

After a rainy and cool Monday, the clouds will apart and the temps will rise and the Sun will shine for Tuesday's Fieldtrip day! Here's a look at both the Cottage and Boathouse schedules:
We will be
heading to the World-renowned Hope for Wildlife Society in Seaforth, just
outside of Dartmouth, for guided tour to meet the many animals they rescue and then we are off a short distance down the road to one
of the best beaches in Canada, Lawrencetown Beach! Times below are approximate.
