July 7-11 Registration times and field trip on Tuesday


Hello all parents and campers of next week July 7 to 11 IPYNC summer camp! 

 

Like last year, I would like to have half the campers come at 8:30 am and the other half at 9:00 am to spread registration out.  Below is who I would like come at 8:30 am

Everyone else can come at 9 am for Monday.  If 8;30 am is not good for you, then it is ok to come at  9 am, just let me know.  Thanks.

 

The other topic I want to talk about is the camp field trip to the Oaklawn Farm Zoo on Tuesday. We will all be meeting at the Tantallon Superstore at 8 am for a Smoothie Workshop before leaving for the zoo at 9 am. We need drivers and if you can drive you children and perhaps a few of someone else’s, then let me know as soon as possible so I can get the drives all sorted out Please note for Campers picked up at 3 pm, we will be returning to the Camp at 3:30 pm on Tuesday.  Below is our  schedule:

Meet at Superstore at 8am for a smoothie workshop. Camera goes to Abigail.

Travel Time
Campers travel to Oak Lawn Zoo, eat snacks during drive.
11:00am-12:00pm
Oak Lawn Zoo Adventure
Campers tour around Oak Lawn Zoo
12:00pm-12:30pm
Lunch
Campers eat lunch at the zoo. Camera goes to Nolan.
12:30pm-1:30pm
Zoo Scavenger and Pony Rides
Campers divide into teams and do scavenger hunt and have pony rides.
1:30pm-3:30pm
Travel Time
Campers travel back from Oak Lawn Zoo
3:30-pm-4:00pm
Return to cottage and pick up
Campers travel back to the cottage. Campers not registered in after camp program are picked up.
4:00pm-5:00pm
After Camp Program
 Campers in after camp program return to cottage for various activities.
 
 
 
 

 

We will be sending out the much anticipated annual newsletter, then Seastar Times, tomorrow with more details on the trip to the zoo and other activites.
