It was a great day with lots of running around playing laser tag, "World Cup" Soccer and celebrating Ashley's Birthday!  Tomorrow is our last day for Camp 2.  This means its the Amazing Island Race! Here's the schedule:

Tuesday, ujuly 22, 2014 Camp Schedule

Hi all:

Well it was a perfect start to Camp 2 this summer!  lost of sun, surf, and fun :)  Tomorrow  will prove to be lots of fun too with our field trip to ross Farm.  We will all meet here at our regular 9 am time.  Parents, who are not driving,  remember to leave car or booster seat.


We started the clues for our weekly Mystery Creature. the clues for today were:

1. I am found at the bottom of the ocean but not in fresh water.
2. My blood is made of water!

Schedule for Mondday July 21, 2014

We're all super excited about our second camp of the summer starting tomorrow.   It looks like its going to be warm and sunny all week so remember the hats and sunscreen! 

Be sure to let us know if you can drive on Tuesday for our field trip to Ross Farm.

Important Information for Campers and their parents of the July 21 to 25, 2014 Summer Camp

Hello all parents and campers of next week July 21 to 25 IPYNC summer camp! 

 

Like last year, I would like to have half the campers come at 8:30 am and the other half at 9:00 am to spread registration out.  Below is who I would like come at 8:30 am

Everyone else can come at 9 am for Monday.  If 8;30 am is not good for you, then it is ok to come at  9 am, just let me know. 

 

We’ve changed the field trip this camp from the Oak Lawn Zoo in Aylesford to the Ross Farm Museum in New Ross for our  Tuesday, July 22 field trip.  The majority of parents of campers in camp 2 thought that the Zoo was too far for a two hour visit.  IPYNC staff were up to Ross Farm this week and we loved it! Scott was very happy that the goose that bit him on his school’s grade five class trip was no longer there too J We need drivers to Ross Farm from the Cottage.  If you can drive your children, and perhaps a few of someone else’s, this would be appreciated.  We will be returning to the Camp at 3:00 pm on Tuesday.  Below is our  schedule:

1:00 pm–2:00pm	Nature Hike		Campers wall Ros Farms Nature Trail with Scott
2:00pm-3:00pm	Travel Time		Campers travel back from Ross Farm.
3:00pm-5:00pm	After Camp Program		Campers in after camp program return to cottage for various activities.

Hi Everyone:

We had a great day filled with lots of running around, swimming and art, all on a beautiful warm sunny day on The Bay.

Tomorrow is our last day of camp, so this  means campers will be taking part in the Island Amazing Race and collecting all the crafts they made, sea treasure and t-shirt to take home.

11th Editon of the Seastar Times

Tuesday July 8th, 2014 Camp Schedule

Hi Everyone:

Our 11th year kicked off in fine style with lots of Sun, Swimming, Learning and FUN today :)

Tomorrow the fun continues with our annual field trip.  This year we are going to the Oak lawn Farm Zoo in Alyesford.

Hello all parents and campers of next week July 7 to 11 IPYNC summer camp!

The other topic I want to talk about is the camp field trip to the Oaklawn Farm Zoo on Tuesday. We will all be meeting at the Tantallon Superstore at 8 am for a Smoothie Workshop before leaving for the zoo at 9 am. We need drivers and if you can drive you children and perhaps a few of someone else’s, then let me know as soon as possible so I can get the drives all sorted out Please note for Campers picked up at 3 pm, we will be returning to the Camp at 3:30 pm on Tuesday.  Below is our  schedule:

3:30-pm-4:00pm	Return to cottage and pick up		Campers travel back to the cottage. Campers not registered in after camp program are picked up.
4:00pm-5:00pm	After Camp Program		Campers in after camp program return to cottage for various activities.

 

We will be sending out the much anticipated annual newsletter, then Seastar Times, tomorrow with more details on the trip to the zoo and other activites.
