Great second day at camp! Tomorrow is the big boat cruise, which will be really exciting. We will also be visited by our very talented shark experts tomorrow, so could all our campers please think of a really good question to ask them? Also, if there are any parents or siblings who want to come with us on the big boat cruise ($20) and have not yet let us know, please email or call Scott ASAP! 9:00am-9:15am | Arrival and Sea Smoothie Making | Campers arrive and choose their sea-smoothie for the day with Arielle and Mikaela, put their lunches away, and head inside to check on the critters. Camera goes to Anya. | |
9:15am-9:45am | Presentation from Shark experts | Our shark experts talk to the campers, and the campers ask their really good questions that they thought of yesterday. | |
9:45am-12:00pm | Four Winds Boat Cruise! | Pick up lifejackets at B.I.O. Cruise with Shark Experts Brendal and Jarrett – lectures take place in 2 groups and the group that’s waiting does a boat cruise scavenger hunt. Bring snacks on cruise. *Soya milk for Kate’s hot cocoa. | |
12:00pm- 12:45pm | Lunch | Campers eat and play human knot once they’re done. Camera goes to Milo. | |
12:45pm- 1:30 | Ocean Frames (Step 1)/ Big Dock Walk | Half the campers paint ocean frames supervised by Arielle and Mandai while the other half go on the Big Dock Walk with Scott and Mikaela, then the groups switch. | |
1:30pm- 2:00pm | Nature journaling at B.I.O. | Campers work on nature journals. | |
2:00pm- 2:45pm | Beach time at B.I.O. | Campers can search for treasures, swim, and spend some free time on the beach. | |
2:45pm- 3:00pm | Return to Cottage and Pick Up | Campers eat Sea Smoothie Pops. Campers not registered in the After Camp Program are picked up with their camp T-shirts. | |
3:00pm- 5:00pm | After Camp Program | Campers registered in the After Camp Program return to BIO for various activities. At 5:00, all campers are picked up with their camp T-shirts. | |
