Schedule for Tuesday August 3rd, 2021 UPDATE #2

 Hi everyone:

After a rainy and cool Monday, the clouds will apart and the temps will rise and the Sun will shine for Tuesday's Fieldtrip day! Here's a look at both the Cottage and Boathouse schedules:

Now, here's a look at the fieldtrip schedule and what cars everybody will be going  in.  If you are a driver, can you confirm with Scott, the numbers of passengers and or who you are taking is ok.  Hope for Wildlife only exist because of public donations from people like us.  They have an awesome giftshop that we visit while we are there in case you send mind with your children a little special something.   

We will be heading to the World-renowned Hope for Wildlife Society in Seaforth, just outside of Dartmouth, for guided tour to meet the many animals they rescue and then we are off a short distance down the road to one of the best beaches in Canada, Lawrencetown Beach!  Times below are approximate.

  9:00 am: Meet at Camp and smoothies.

  9:15  am: Leave Camp and travel to Hope for Wildlife in Seaforth (snacks on the way there).

  10:15 am: Arrive at Hope for Wildlife for tour.

  11:15 am: Lunch at Hope for Wildlife.

  11:45 am: Leave Hope for Wildlife to travel to Lawrencetown Beach.

  12:00 pm: Arrive at Lawrencetown Beach, change into swimsuits and catch the waves and swim!

  1:30  pm: Leave Lawrencetown Beach to travel back to Camp.

  2:30  pm: Arrive back at Camp and parent pick up.

The Bluenose in the Bay!

Hi everyone:

The famous Bluenose Schooner is in St. Margaret's Bay thsi week.  She;s still in Lunenburg thsi morning but she is on her way to our bay later today.  Here's a link to track her as she sails:  https://my.yb.tl/schoonerbluenose/

Schedule for Monday August 2nd, 2021

 Hi everyone:

Wow, Monday is the start of our last camp for the 5 to 12 year old's - where has the Summer gone! (actually not far, Summer will be again our senior camp counsellor at camp again this coming week :).  

Here's a look at Monday's schedule as well as the list of counsellors and campers in each of the two groups.  

Please note the different starting times for each group and that both groups meet at  The Cottage, 39 Sunset Drive.

Schedule for Wednesday July 21st, 2021

 Hi everyone:

SPECIAL EVENT NOTICE: FOR PARENTS AND GUARDIANS

Tomorrow, Wednesday July 21^st, Camp 2 Cottage Group between 1:15 pm and 2:15 pm, camp will be cancelled; Camp 2 Boathouse Group between10:30 am and 12:00 pm will be cancelled. 

In its place will be a special event for campers that a parent/guardian MUST attend. Alternatively, you may contact Scott and give permission for another adult to watch your child(ren).

Please park at the Cottage (39 Sunset Drive) and walk the path ( follow the signs) to boathous.  Contact Scott for more information. Bring your bathing suit and you can participate in the special event as well!
