Surfing was a blast today ( Minus the flat tire Scott received ). Hard to believe that after tomorrow we are nearly finished Camps for 2023! Here's a look at Wednesday's schedule:

Hi everyone:
Campers will experience the fun and excitement of surfing lessons that include a thorough explanation of basic surfing technique, safety, and ocean awareness and information about their surfing equipment. Campers, who too, lesson last year with us, can either get an advanced lesson or go straight to the beach to catch the waves with their boards! Remember that we need the online waiver sent or the pdf waiver brought to camp ( see email sent last Monday) , at the latest, Tuesday morning.

Its hard to believe but our 4th and final camp of 2023 starts tomorrow, we like to call the "Big Kids Camp" for teens.
A reminder, we still would like to have one more driver for our surfing trip om Tuesday. Also, please remember to fill out the online surfing waiver or send it in with your campers Monday.

Another fantastic day at camp! Tomorrow is our annual Paint Splatter Party and campers are to bring a change of clothing they would like to get, you guessed it, paint splattered. Also, if campers’ names could be put on this clothing is recommended. this would help a lot in identifying the owners later. Here's a look at Thursdays complete schedule:
Reminder to Parents about the SPECIAL CAMP ACTIVITY on Wednesday 1:15 pm -3:15 pm for Cottage Group and at 11 am -1 pm for Boathouse Group.
A parent needs to attend themselves or send Scott an email letting him know
you are ok with your child participating in the event or giving another parent
of a camper permission to watch your chid.

Well if your kids came home with a red and blue rash this evening, no reason to get alarmed because it's paint from our Paint Splatter Party!
Tomorrow wraps up our first week of camp with our annual Island Amazing Race and ends with a Campfire, S'mores and t-shirt signing! Here's a look at the full schedule for BOTH the Boathouse and Cottage groups Friday.

Each camper will be put into one
of FOUR teams to bake the best cookies ever!
One at a time each team will
choose FIVE ingredients to put into their cookies. Each team is given a cookie
sheet, cookie dough, a tablecloth.
Each team finds a place away
from the other teams to create their cookies (SHADE IS BEST).
Teams all start at the same time
making their cookies.
Each team has 20 minutes to make
their FOUR cookies. If not completed at this end of this time,
cookies must be passed in as is.
REMEMBER, each team must make 4
cookies in total.
After the 20 minutes are up, the
cookies sheets with team tags are collected.
A Team tag will be provided, and
the team’s name must be printed on and placed on the cookies sheet with team cookies.
Each Cookie will be baked and
divided into FOUR pieces to be given to each team.
The teams will receive a small
part of each of the others team’s cookie (16 cookies pieces in total)
Each team will receive a Score
Cards, judged with the following three categories which are:
Each category is rated from 1-5
and its for the overall score of all 4 cookies.

Well we started the day with rain but than the clouds parted and, with cheers from all, we our first day without rain this Camp.
Tomorrow we have out first ever Cookie Challenge and bring back a camp fav, the Paint Splatter Party.

After 10 months of waiting, the 20th summer of the IPYNC begins tomorrow!
Remember both groups meet at 9:00 am at The Cottage, 39 Sunset Drive in Glen Haven, and are picked up here as well at 5 pm.
If anyone want to come at 8:45 am, for tomorrow only, please fell free too, This may make it a little less busy if everyone shows up at 9 am.
