2015 Camp Dates Announced

Hello:

Parents start earlier it seems planning their family activities for the summer so we want to announce the dates of this summers camp earlier too.

Registration between now and April 2015 is open to kids who have attended a previous year.

In April between 10 -15 new kids get an opportunity to attend camp for the first time. Parents of children who have not attend camp before are encouraged to contact us now as well to be put on a waiting list.

Here are the Camp dates and age groups:

Camp 1: Monday July 6th to Friday July 10th, 2015 for ages 5 to 12 SOLD OUT

Camp 2: Monday July 20th to Friday July 24th, 2015 for ages 5 to 12 SOLD OUT

Camp 3: Monday August 3rd to Friday August 7th, 2015 for ages 5 to 12
SOLD OUT

Camp 4: Monday August 17th to Friday August 21st, 2015 for ages 12 to 15
SOLD OUT

The August 2013 Big Kids Camp Movie is FINALLY Released TODAY!

Hi Everyone part of the 2013 Big kids Camp:

Finally campers and staff can relive the Summer of 2013 spent with the Indian Point Young Naturalist Club with the aid of the, newly released, Big Kids, August 12-16, 2013 Camp movie!

I believe, with 35 minutes of Hi Def. movie, it will be well worth the wait. The movie is 8GB file, so best for you is to drop over to visit me and I will transfer the movie to your, at least 8 GB free, memory stick or card. Please contact take me to make arrangements for the movie. The cost of the movie was part of the registration for the 2013 camps, so no extra cost now.

I hope everyone is doing well and, speaking for most of us, I’m sure we are all looking forward to the Summer of 2015 to hurry up J

A Fiery Fall Frolic on Micou’s Island Schedule

Hi all you Fall Frolickers:

Below is our schedule for Friday's Frolic on Micou's Island. Please note that we are all meeting at the end of Indian Point across from Micou's Island at 1 pm and NOT Scott's home.

It looks like we may get away with having only showers tomorrow afternoon. I will check the forecast at 9am. If there is no change by then, We will go ahead with the Frolic. I will inform all the parents who have a child ( children) registered what we decide shortly after 9am.

Fiery Fall Frolic on Friday October 24: Provincioal In-service Day!

Hello:

Every now and again we like to have special adventures throughout the year, especially on school in-service days. We are excited to let you know that we have planned for another special adventure on Micou’s Island. We are calling it the Fiery Fall Frolic!

The adventure will be held on the Provincial In-service day, Friday October 24 from 1pm to 4pm.
