Budget Boat Race 2022

Boat Building and Rule

Objective:

To create a boat for one of your team members for them to make it around at least 1 lap of the course and look good doing it!

Teams:

1: Szerafina, Piper, Norah, Meadow,

2: Curtis, Garcin, Vance, Isaac, Hanalei, Taylor

3:  Elizabeth, Nadia, Claire, Connell

4: Will, Sean, Mia

5: Summer, Kate, Frida, Kira, Nate

Point System:

(+5)  for one lap around mark.

(+10) for every additional lap, up to 5 laps max.  

(+10) for fastest speed around mark the first time.

(+5) Most creative boat

(+5) Best teamwork shown

(+5) Best name of boat

Rules:

2 rolls of duct tape,  4 boxes, 2 sheets of cardboard each team  Maximum of 90 minutes to build and decorate boat.

Hint:  Make your boat wider than it is long.
